Perfume reviews

I've recently gotten into perfume in the sense that I keep trying new samples to try to find a new One True Scent, so here are some recent perfumes I've sampled:
Killian - I Don't Need A Prince to be a Princess: okay. Like. It's fascinating how they managed to make a perfume just on the edge of cloyingly sweet. This one seems to be pretty polarizing online, but I liked it okay? I think I would wear this perfume if I ever wanted to convince people I was a normie. It's almost boring and almost too sweet but the lemon and ginger and green tea notes save this from being a marshmallow abomination. 3/5 would wear again to fake normalcy.
Maison Martin Margiela Replica - Under the Lemon Tree: it's citrusy, which I like, and green, which I also really like, but the piney woody and spicy makes it unisex in a way that I feel doesn't vibe with my personality. I definitely enjoy this scent though, despite it having weak projection and longevity. 3.5/5
Phlur - Tangerine Boy: I love anything that smells orangey/manderiney/tangeriney, so I love this one. It smells like a juicy tangerine with a hint of spice and sweetness - someone in a review complained it made them smell like a fruit, and it's like. My guy. The perfume is literally named Tangerine Boy. This doesn't project much and but lasts decently long for a citrus perfume. 4.25/5
The 7 Virtues - Cherry Ambition: the opening smelled like a Yankee candle, and then it became an expensive body lotion, and then it smelled like a very nice perfume. This is definitely not a linear journey. On me it mostly smells of vanilla and sandalwood, with a hint of tangy cherry, but surprisingly does not smell overwhelmingly sweet for something that has fruit and vanilla and marshmallows as the main notes. Projection is strong, lasting power is insane. I enjoyed it but it was also too much for me, so with mixed feelings I'm giving it a 3.5/5.
None of these compare with My Love, which is Killian's Imperial Tea, which is a very realistic rendition of a fragrant cup of jasmine tea, but sadly that is discontinued and I've only been able to get an oil perfume dupe of it, so the hunt for a new favourite scent continues. I have quite a few more perfume samples to work through, but once I work through some more of my samples I'm going to get the Le Labo discovery set and hope that either their Thé Matcha or Thé Noir work for me.
